
WE DID IT!!!



Guess what this is? Our "food" for the next 3 days. That's right, folks. We've decided to do the "master cleanse" for the last 3 days of the detox. It's basically a steady diet of a lemonade concoction made with cayenne, maple syrup, fresh lemons and water.
Yesterday was an interesting day for me. It all started Monday night actually … I got home from work and the thought of eating salmon made me wanna gag, the thought of eating anything made me wanna gag, but I was strangely hungry so I just had a bowl of Rice Twice with soy milk and fell asleep early. I woke up at 2am incredibly nauseas and the rest of the early morning was not fun … if you get my drift.
Alright, I may not have disclosed as fully as I could've yesterday. What I failed to mention was my low moment at Whole Foods.
I too had a torturous food court experience over the weekend. I ended up eating half a cookie and one vegetable dumpling. Not near the damage I was dreaming of doing at the Taco Bell that was less than 10 feet away. Yesterday I was completely back on track, however, and ended up running and doing my liver flush drink, which I strangely enjoyed once again.

As soon as I got to work this morning I checked the blog just to see the single-digit on the counter. I'm thrilled that we are more than half way done with the program and we are both still going strong. It really is starting to feel like a lifestyle change. Some observances so far … 



in the same vein of our current detox but a little more structured and more diversified. If I like what I read I'm hoping to go right into this plan after our current detox is over.

- brown rice pasta
- broccoli rabe
- dark greens mix incl. spinach, red cabbage, shredded carrots
- grilled Rosemary chicken
- pesto sauce
(cheat alert: contains trace amts of parmesan & canola oil)
- fresh squeezed lime
- minced garlic
Tossed. Very satisfying and.... delish...ous.
OK, now it's just getting cool.
